precious than the precious stone, precious than the black gold

Save every drop of water for our betterment.

You can live without food for days on ends however try living without water, that is close to impossible.

Decades ago, several countries had predicted that the future will be a war over the waters and not oil.

Centuries ago, the Middle East respected water to the core - at Dubai airport where when one asked for just one sip of water, the airport authority told they have to buy water which is expensive than fuel so people don't waste it - hatsoff to this thought!

Even for the matter, Mr Shekhar Kapoor had planned a movie named Paani which revolved around the water shortage.

Although several cities and countries face drought every year, it is going bad to worse.

Also noticed quite an odd situation that those who have immense respect for water have never respected it:-
  • Be it under the name of Ganga Maiya / holy water KEEP THE RIVERS CLEAN!
  • Be it by replacing commodes to Indian seatings in washrooms which consume more water than the Indian seatings (dedicating these changes in the name of hygiene and technology and fashion) USE WATER FOR CLEANLINESS BUT DO NOT OVER UTILIZE IT!
  • Be it replacing buckets with shower faucets and bath tubs which consume so much more water than the filling up buckets and using it to minimal (again in the name of hygiene and technology and fashion) - USE WATER FOR CLEANLINESS NOT FOR SAKE OF PLEASURE!
  • Be it for facilitating systems for heating water for shower on stoves rather than using geysers which end up utilizing more water (dedicating once more these changes in the name of hygiene and technology and fashion) - UTILIZE WATER TO THE MINIMAL!

I'm not writing this against any specific culture or religion but something every holy book holds respect for and has loads written about.

However the holy book's followers still don't respect water and call themselves chaste followers and are more concerned about what one wears and does than the need of the hour.

And the need of the hour is Save Water!

More precious than the precious stone (diamond) is the holy water.
More precious than the black gold (oil) is clean, sparkling water.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SAVE WATER!!!
